Paul Avanti Iannuzzelli (MMus, BMusEd) is an international teacher, songwriter, singer and producer. His songs have been recorded and published on Gold Albums in over 136 countries, and they have appeared on the very first Hillsong and United albums. He has also worked on song projects with Natasha Bedingfield, David Moyse (Air Supply), Jean Paul Decoster (2 Unlimited), David Evans (Creative), Lisa Aschmann, Jeremy Bose, Brian Hitt, Stan Webb, Diego Broggio, Deborah Rozenkrantz and others.
Paul has worked alongside many artists including; Darlene Zschech, Andrae Crouch, Chris Falson, Evan Schoombie, Paul Jackson Juniour (guitarist for Michael Jackson), Chester Thomson (drummer for Phil Collins, Weather Report, Frank Zappa) and many others. As a producer, he has worked on a number of projects with artists such as Paul Jones (Manfred Man), Geoff Dugmore (Robbie William’s studio drummer), Miriam Webster (Hillsongs Australia) and others.
His formal training at the Conservatorium of Music includes both a Bachelor’s degree and a Masters in Music.Paul was co-founder of the Worship School at Hillsong International Leadership College (Australia), which now boasts over 600 international students. He has written for Radio Times and worked with the BBC on national music programs. He was also a lecturer and course writer for SBCS, Wesley Institute for the Arts and other such institutions. He was significantly involved in the formative years of Youth Alive NSW, where he wrote and peformed many songs for their stadium concerts.
Paul’s extensive experience in Church Planting, Growth and Team Building is a great source of help for many church leaders. As well as being involved in Hillsong church plants such as those in London and Kiev, Paul has worked alongside other ministries in pioneering churches and related movements in various streams for many years. This insight and experience has provided useful strategies for those involved in many areas of church leadership. Paul still travels the globe performing, writing and teaching through seminars and clinics. Currently he is working on a number of projects, including a new music video release (shortly available on itunes, see www.myspace.com/paulavanti) and a new book, “Help, I’m Running a Worship Team” which will be available soon in our online store.
As Co-Director and Co-Founder of ICA, Paul is largely occupied with establishing courses and lecturing as part of the opening of ICA schools worldwide.
